Most capture tools support a fixed set of document types. AI Capture works differently – it reads and understands document content rather than matching against a template, which means the supported document list is not a list at all. It’s every PDF you work with.
Three things determine whether AI Capture can process a document:
It’s a PDF: AI Capture is optimised for digital PDF documents – native PDFs, exported PDFs, and digitally generated files.
A profile is configured: Each document type needs a profile that defines which fields to extract. Configuration takes minutes and requires no technical expertise.
The fields exist in the document: AI Capture extracts what’s there. If a field is defined in the profile and present in the document, it will be captured regardless of where on the page it appears.

Your Document Type – Not listed here? If it’s a PDF, AI Capture can handle it. Any document type with a configured profile is supported.
What about scanned documents or image files?
