DocAI is an add-on to Docsvault, not a separate application. It works within your existing Docsvault environment through the same interface your team already uses. AI Capture is the first available capability under the DocAI add-on license.
DocAI is designed with confidentiality as a default. Your document content is used only to perform the AI task — extraction and classification — and is not stored externally, shared with third parties, or used to train external models. What is in your documents stays in your environment.
No. AI Capture does not require a training period or historical document dataset to function. Configure your document profiles and it works from the first import. There is no learning curve for the AI itself.
DocAI uses AI-powered extraction optimised for digital PDF documents — ideal for fast, flexible setup with no template configuration. Advanced Capture uses on-premise OCR, OMR, and NLP technology — better suited when strict data residency requirements prevent content from being processed outside your own infrastructure. Both integrate with Docsvault and complement each other across different workflow types.
Document Summarization, Natural Language Interaction, Intelligent Drafting Support, and AI-Powered Search are currently in active development. Release dates will be announced via Docsvault product update channels. Existing customers will be notified when each capability becomes available.
